Miles of white quartz-sand beach and clear emerald-green Gulf water. The main public beach area on West Beach Blvd has parking, restrooms, and a boardwalk. Come early on summer weekends.
Gulf State Park
2,644 acres of preserved coastline with a 6,150-foot fishing pier, hiking trails, a resort lodge, and beachfront camping. The pier at sunset is one of the most beautiful views on the Gulf Coast.
Fort Morgan State Historic Site
A beautifully preserved 1834 fort at the tip of the peninsula, guarding Mobile Bay. Walk the battlements and take in dramatic coastal views — about 20 minutes west of Gulf Shores.
Kayaking & Paddleboarding
The back bays offer calm, protected water perfect for kayaking and eco-tours — a great way to spot dolphins, herons, and stingrays up close.
