Local Notes
Conway is the historic heart of Horry County — a Lowcountry river town where Spanish moss drapes over the Waccamaw and the downtown looks much like it did in the 1900s. The Riverwalk along Kingston Park, the brick storefronts of Main Street, and the Coastal Carolina University campus give Conway a different rhythm than its beach-resort neighbor: slower, leafier, full of locals who have been here for generations.
Our Tanger Outlets studio is about 20 minutes east on Highway 501, and we get plenty of Conway clients — CCU students celebrating birthdays and bid days, Conway locals stopping by during a beach errand, and bachelorette parties who book Conway B&Bs because of the historic charm. Permanent jewelry has caught on at CCU as a friendship symbol; we frequently host groups of sorority sisters and dorm mates who want matching welded bracelets.
For Conway parties too large to travel, we bring the welding studio to you — to homes near the Riverwalk, banquet rooms at Conway Country Club, or wherever your celebration is. Permanent jewelry travels well to Conway venues, and we coordinate with local caterers and event planners regularly.
